The Italian made Gibus Med Viva was designed to create comfort for time spent outdoors. Sleek and modern in design, characterised by a solid painted aluminium support structure, superior quality finishing with no visible screws or joins.
The fabric used is PVC Opatex manufactured by Giofex in Italy. The waterproof PVC anti UV blackout cover protects against heat, frost, weather and temperature changes. The fabric is stretched and opened by section bars which slide along tracks, driven by a high resistance toothed belt that rotates on stainless steel ball bearings, with great carrying capacity.
Rainwater is discharged through the integrated front gutter, down the drains incorporated in the and out to the ground. Installation must be with a minimum slope of between 8% and 19%, depending on the projection, to ensure proper drainage.
Glisse or Skate glass doors or vertical drop shade screens are optional extras for all year round protection. The choice of three integrated LED lighting options and heating can also be added.
Configuration is available with a minimum of two front posts or multiple modules for larger outdoor coverage.
Operation can be manual, by crank, or by the motorised Somfy system with standard activation IO-Homecontrol remote control. Installation of an automated sensor option is available to detect wind strength if it exceeds over 40 km/h. The control system will automatically manage the extension and retraction of the fabric, even when you are not there.

Integrated LED Spots
Rectangular LED spotlights integrated in the section bars. Arranged every 50 cm in groups of 6 per light point, each LED 0.5 Watt for a total of 3 Watt.
LED Linear with clips
Linear LED bars can be applied under the section bars with clips. Made of 12 LEDs per meter with a power of 6 Watt. They can also be installed after installation.
LED Spot Wall Bar
LED spotlights integrated in an aluminium bar that can be applied on the wall or inside the structure by means of brackets.

Drop Blinds
Blind in self-supporting vertical box cassette with guides including ZIP system for complete wind and rain protection.
LED Linear with clips
Sliding glass walls on stainless steel tracks, in 2, 3 or 4 way solutions and up to 8 doors without perimeter profiles. Toughened safety glass from 10 to 12mm thick.
LED Spot Wall Bar
Sliding and folding wall panels made of toughened 10mm safety glass without perimeter profiles.
